Today was one of those days that was "just right".
It started out as a chilly morning with a fire roaring in the fireplace and a cup of coffee in hand.
Lunch was a picnic in the park and a game of Frisbee with my parents, sister and her boyfriend.
After a few hours of fun in the sun and spring weather, it was time for catching up with a dear friend on a patio at a bookstore. Two hours of pure encouragement as far as I am concerned-life conversations.
Dinner was spent with the boys I nanny. I heard all about their first soccer game and the scary movie they had seen.
The sun went down as I listened to 7 year old Aleks breath heavy from falling asleep as his twin brother read bedtime books.
Really, it was a beautiful day.
Thank you for letting me see beauty today Lord.
