I watched you little snowflake

I watched you little snowflake.
I watched you float through the air.
I watched you as you fell slowly to the ground.
You were heading to the earth but then the wind would grab you and cause a detour from your destination.

I watched you little snowflake - you didn't mind.
You let your moment you fell, last.
You didn't make demands to get to the earth fast.

I watched you little snowflake.
You delaying your mission to reach the earth,
Gave me a few more minutes to take your beauty in.

I watched you little snowflake and I am glad I did.

(I was inspired to write this as I looked out my window this morning at the few falling flakes)
