There are so many little moments to share!
On Wednesday I had 15 essays due (which I waited until this week to write), one take home final due and a quiz. Needless to say I was a little overwhelmed. My sweet roommate kept asking me if there was anything she could do for me. I told her "no" but she found a way to bless me anyway!
After I returned from all of my classes, my roomie had dinner on the stove, my clothes folded on the couch and my favorite flowers, tulips, on the table along with a card that congratulating me for getting everything done. I was overwhelmed. She continues to go above and beyond what I expect. I still am just as grateful for her friendship today (if not more!) as when we first became friends over a decade ago.

Today, my roomie and myself were going to have a lunch date together after we dropped my broken car off at the mechanics. To make a long, adventurous story short, I had to get my car towed. The receptionist at the mechanic was so helpful I couldn't help but feel at ease with the whole situation. She started referring to my car as my baby. How did she know I had such an emotional connection with my car? I guess I should inform her that my last car was my baby and this car is my buddy. ;-)
On a side note, when my car died on me in the middle of the road and after I moved it over to the gas station, men stopped and asked if they could help me. It really is a comforting feeling to know there are men looking out for others when they are out and about, especially being a female that knows very little about cars.
It is the little moments that make me grateful...
